Hello, fine backers!

Whether you are a newest visitors to Sig, or an experienced veteran of the City Between. It's a pleasure to have you here. I am absolutely blown away by the amount of support we have amassed in the first couple days of the campaign, and we are off to a great start!

Useful Information

I am trying to send all backers personal messages, often containing links to the PDF version of Sig. The digital content is already available, and you can dig into the text immediately. I am absolutely happy to answer questions about the setting or the mechanics, either over the Kickstarter messaging system or in the comments section.

During the middle of the campaign, I hope to run a series of one-shot demo sessions over google hangouts. I will aim to send out the details in the next backer update, as soon as the initial surge of new backers subsides a bit.

We are currently at approximately 62% of our core goal, which any project runner will tell you is a nice think to hear at the start of a campaign. When we reach our initial goal, I have a series of stretch goals lined up.

Rumour has it that The Sig Gazetteer, the leading source of planar journalism from the city between, seems to have signed up on Twitter!  Follow them @sig_gazetteer and feel free to retweet any of their planar news that you find interesting! More is coming every day!

Planar Podcasts

While we stride toward our core goal, I would love to point you to some great online resources to get more Sig!

I ran a fantastic session of Sig for the One Shot Podcast, which you can find over at Episode 1 (http://oneshotpodcast.com/podcasts/one-shot/170-sig-part-1/)  This is full of actual-play goodness, including serpent cults, dragon pearls, and mythenders. It works as a tutorial of sorts, showing you how I run the game.

On the Modifier Podcast, I discussed the design in more detail including how the setting and system align. You can check that out at http://oneshotpodcast.com/podcasts/modifier/24-supporting-setting-with-mechanics-in-jason-pitres-sig/

I had an indepth discussion about Sig on the Misdirected Mark podcast. Rumour has it that this episode may be dropping later on today, and you will be able to find it over at http://misdirectedmark.com/

If you are looking for more, we have another fun episode of the Tabletop Superhighway (https://thetabletopsuperhighway.com/2017/01/25/bonus-episode-dissecting-sig-with-jason-pitre/) and one with the Ottawa Game Publisher's Podcast (http://accidentalsurvivors.libsyn.com/ottawa-game-publishers-podcast-special-episode-1-sig-and-high-plains-samurai)

What can I say. I like podcasts.
